The ThunderRipper® by K-Line Ag is designed for growers who need serious ripping performance without a massive, hard-to-handle machine. Its heavy-duty frame and deep-working tines break through compacted layers down to approximately 450–500 mm, restoring natural soil structure so roots can explore deeper and access more moisture and nutrients.
By creating vertical channels through the profile, ThunderRipper® encourages better drainage, increases air exchange and helps organic matter work its way into the subsoil. This supports healthier root systems, stronger plant growth and more consistent yields across the paddock. A robust main frame is matched with heavy-duty tines and an adjustable knifing roller, allowing you to condition the surface and bust clods in the same pass.

ThunderRipper® is offered in multiple configurations so you can match the machine to your tractor and operation. Choose from 3PL rigid bars or trailing forward-folding models, with working widths between 2.5 and 6 m and a range of tine numbers and spacings to suit different soils and depths. Selected folding models can be fitted with hydraulic trip shanks, providing extra protection in rocky or variable country and allowing the tine to release and reset automatically. Together, these options give you the flexibility to set up ThunderRipper® for targeted headland work, full-paddock renovation or anything in between.
