RedMac customer Fenton Dean purchased a new Case IH Magnum 355, with the tractor recently delivered.
The Magnum 355 is part of Case IH’s latest Magnum line-up, bringing more power, a choice of transmissions and the latest precision technology to Fenton’s operation.
The Case IH Magnum 355
The Magnum 355 is rated at 355 hp and is powered by an 8.7-litre FPT six-cylinder engine. It delivers up to 390 hp at maximum engine power and up to 410 hp with power boost, with around 303 hp available at the PTO.
Buyers can choose between two transmissions: the PowerDrive full powershift, with 21 forward and 5 reverse speeds and a top speed of 50 km/h, or the CVXDrive continuously variable transmission. A new brake-to-clutch function disengages drive when the operator brakes and returns to the previous speed when the brake is released, making implement handling easier.
The updated Automatic Productivity Management system lets operators fine-tune acceleration, shifting and transmission behaviour through the Case IH Pro 1200 display. Dual Pro 1200 displays give a clear view during demanding work and real-time access to machine data for both the owner and the dealer, and Case IH offers two levels of technology package to match each farm’s precision farming needs.
