CNH and Bourgault announce strategic alliance to expand global seeding portfolio

Don't forget to share this post!

Some exciting news just landed from CNH. CNH has announced a new strategic alliance with Bourgault Industries — one of the biggest names in seeding gear for broadacre operations. What that means in plain terms: co-branded Case IH and New Holland seeding equipment, built by Bourgault, will be rolling out through the CNH dealer network, including us here at RedMac, right across Australia and other major seeding markets.

Why this is good news for your operation:

  • New gear, sooner: This alliance is all about getting better technology into paddocks faster, with more options for growers and smarter investment where it counts.
  • Best of both worlds: You get Bourgault’s serious seeding pedigree combined with the Case IH network and support you already know and trust — a stronger lineup all round.
  • A seriously good line-up: Think precision seeding air drills, high-capacity air carts, and all the digital tech and control systems to help you get the most out of every pass.

This is part of CNH’s longer-term plan (their “Path to 2030” strategy) to bring together Bourgault’s seeding expertise with CNH’s reach, precision ag tech, and finance options through CNH Capital. For us as your local dealer, it means we’ll have access to a genuinely market-leading seeding range sooner rather than later — and for you, it means more choice without having to look outside the brand you already back.

It’s also worth mentioning — soil health is a big part of why this deal makes sense. Your land is your biggest asset, often handed down through the family, and what happens to the soil now shapes yields and quality for years to come. CNH’s continuing to pour R&D into whole-farm health, so the tech keeps getting smarter about protecting what’s under your boots, not just what’s above it.

CNH’s CEO Gerrit Marx put it well, saying the alliance helps them “compete” and “creates new opportunities” for dealers, while freeing up more investment for the precision, automation and digital tools that are shaping where farming’s headed — all tied together through CNH’s FieldOps platform. Bourgault’s Bill Glanville echoed that, saying the partnership reflects a shared focus on innovation and getting more value into farmers’ hands, with CNH helping get Bourgault gear to more growers in more places.

For now, it’s business as usual — we’ll keep supporting the current seeding range, and we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve got more detail on timing and availability for the new line-up.
