If conditions allow, the Easitill II traditional deep tillage machine is proven to be capable of working to depths of 380mm (15”) with the 750mm edge-on shank. In sand plain soil conditions, it works to depths of 450mm using the 820mm edge-on shank to.
Our forged edge-on shank is 20mm wide x 90mm deep and is designed to not invert the soil, which means very little topsoil disturbance. Everything topside stays intact.
Easitill 2 uses a similar frame to the Deep Blade System (DBS) Auseeder, but does not use the rear add on tool bar. Instead, the three rows of tines are mounted within the main frame.
Works With Min-Till Too.
Minimum tillage seeding and deep ripping go hand in hand. Min-till seeding is worthwhile after ripping because it reduces erosion risk and helps the effect of deep ripping last longer.

Conventional cultivation requires more tractor passes. And that creates the dreaded hard pans that can reduce your grain yield by up to a third. We conducted professional trials in sand plain in WA found that four passes of a tractor were enough to form a yield-crushing hardpan.
Our deep ripping approach removes traffic-induced hardpans and means plant roots can penetrate the ripped soil faster and deeper to absorb more soil moisture and capture more soil nutrients. And that means improved yield.
